October 14, 2016, Friday - Ten Thousand Things' Pericles opens at Open Book (thru Nov 6)

Ten Thousand Things presents: Pericles 

(October 14-16, 20-23, 27-30 and November 3-6)

Ten Thousand Things’ new season opens in October with Pericles. Director Michelle Hensley pays particular attention in this production to the women in this tale about a life full of extremes of good luck, deep loss, grievous betrayal, impossible challenges and incredible miracles. Pericles features a diverse cast of award-winning actors: Ansa Akyea, Pearce Bunting, Maggie Chestovich, JuCoby Johnson, Audrey Park, James Rodriguez, Karen Wiese-Thompson and Tatiana Williams. Following a tour of correctional facilities, low-income centers and shelters, the show will play to the public at Open Book. 

ThursdayFriday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 pm, and Sunday shows at 4 pm. Tickets are $30. Pay-what-you-can for audiences under age 30; please present ID at the door.
