Today at Mill City Farmers Market: Preserving the Harvest

Fall Hours have begun! MCFM is open all Saturdays in October, 9 am–1 pm

Produce Planner: At the Market this Saturday, you will find: Concord, bluebell and louise grapes, Beacon apples, Zestar apples, sweet corn, watermelon, herbs, arugula, kale, Swiss chard, green beans, brussel sprouts, head lettuce varietals, kohlrabi, broccoli, Romanesco cauliflower, cabbage, zucchini, summer squash, winter squash, potatoes, fresh mushrooms, baby bok choi, tatsoi, cilantro, mint, basil, carrots, tomatillos, red and golden beets, purslane, jalapeño peppers, bell peppers, sweet Italian peppers, cherry tomatoes, slicing and heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, filet beans, salad mix, cippolini onions, red and white onions, garlic, radishes, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, turnips, and more!

Mill City Cooks, 10 am: Chef Jenny Breen will be back in the kitchen today sharing tips on how to extend the life of this season's storage crops!

Live Music, 11am – 1pm: Mill welcomes back Daddy Squeeze to the Market!

Mini-Farm, all day: Mini-Farm from Oliver H. Kelley Farm is at the Market for the final Saturday this year.  Come by and say goodbye your favorite furry friends for the season.

Art Market, all day: Annabella Sardelis, Ginny Sims, Spring Finn & C0., and Crooked Wood.

Community Booth: For 30 years, Store To Door has been shopping for and delivering groceries to hundreds of elderly adults in the Twin Cities metro area each week, helping them continue to live independently in their own homes.  As a non-profit, volunteers are critical to the mission by helping to take grocery orders over the phone and doing the shopping for clients at the store.  Please stop by to learn more about the organization, or visit http://www.storetodoor.org/.
