Ten Thousand Things presents: Scapin
Ten Thousand Things kicks off a new era under the direction of Artistic Director Marcela Lorca with Molière’s Scapin, the first show of the 2018-19 season. Randy Reyes directs his new adaptation of this raucous comedy about love affairs, revenge, family dynamics, deception, intrigue and greed. Performances in prisons, shelters and low-income centers begin September 27, with public performances October 11 to November 4 at Open Book. The cast features Sarah Agnew as Scapin, with Ricardo Beaird, Elise Langer, Kris Nelson, Kimberly Richardson and Darío Tangelson.
Tickets for Scapin are available at www.tenthousandthings.org or 800-838-3006. Tickets for public performances are $20 for the first week of performances, $30 for subsequent weeks. A pay-what-you-can option is available for every performance for audience members under age 30, with a minimum of $10.
