November 28, 2018, Wednesday - Public Hearing for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Action Plan at MPRB

Time: 6pm

Location: MPRB Headquarters2117 West River Road

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) has scheduled a public hearing to receive comments and input on its draft Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Action Plan.

The plan also goes before the Board's Administration and Finance Committee for review and acceptance on the same date, before going before the full board for acceptance.

The plan updates MPRB’s original 1992 ADA Transition Plan to incorporate updates to federal guidelines addressing recreation facilities as well as emerging practices and technology. The ADA Action Plan is a working document that will guide MPRB ADA Transition planning policies along with policy and procedure revisions.
