November 22, 2014, Saturday - 13th Annual Book Arts Festival and Holiday Sale at MCBA

Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Minnesota Center for Book Arts, 1011 Washington Avenue South

13th Annual Book Arts Festival and Holiday Sale at The Shop and throughout Open Book

2014 marks the thirteenth big year of this exciting annual event, offering the most unique holiday shopping in town! This year we’re broadening the event to include artist working in other media. This year’s theme, Love Local, celebrates the rich craft traditions of the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. We’re also expanding the festival and sale to the second floor of Open Book to allow us to engage even more artists to bring you even more great goods.

The Book Arts Festival at MCBA celebrates the art of the book in Minnesota and beyond; each year we feature dozens of local and regional artists displaying and selling handmade books, journals, paper, prints and gifts. Browse hundreds of unique items and find the perfect gift for everyone on your list — heck, even pick up a little something for yourself. You’ve been good.

The festivities also include free hands-on artmaking activities for all ages, wintry refreshments, and more.

The Festival is always free and open to the public!
