November 21, 2011, Monday - Public Skating at the Dome

Time: 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Location:  The Dome

From November through March, the Metrodome becomes the prime destination for rollerbladers and skaters across the Twin Cities.   For the winter months the upper and lower concourses of the sports arena are turned into the Rollerdome, hosting up to 500,000 people.

Throughout the day a DJ spins top 40 and dance music and food stands give skaters an extra energy boost. For first-timers or amateurs who don’t own their own pair of rollerblades, they can be rented for an extra $5 fee.
