Book Launch for Beth Dooley's IN WINTER'S KITCHEN

Celebrate our local food and the people who grow it.

Raise a glass and enjoy the best food on offer from local growers and makers, as we gather for an evening in celebration of Beth Dooley's IN WINTER'S KITCHEN from Milkweed Editions. Join us for a brief reading from the book, continue the conversation off the page, and find out for yourself just how delicious local food can be.

IN WINTER'S KITCHEN is itself a celebration of the people behind the Heartland's food movement: a rich ecosystem of farmers, artisanal producers, and restauranteurs that has been proving for decades that even in a place with a short growing season, food grown locally and organically can be community-based, environmentally conscious, and healthy.

While there's no ticket necessary for entry, an RSVP will help us make sure we have enough delicious local food and beverages on hand for all! inwinterskitchen.eventbrite.com
