November 14, 2018, Wednesday - Fairy Tales for Grown Ups at The Loft

Time: 7:00pm

Location: The Loft Literary Center, at Open Book (Performance Hall), 1011 Washington Ave

Fairy Tales for Grown Ups with Carter Meland, Allison Wyss and Sequoia Nagamatsu

($10/$5 Loft Members)

So much new writing retells or subverts fairy tales and myths, but why? What is it about these warnings, morals and stories that seem as potent and important as ever? At this event, three writers read five minutes of their work, then come together to discuss the roles of traditional and modern fairy tales for storytellers. $10 ($5 members).
