November 12, 2013, Tuesday - Public Hearing re: Ryan Companies Proposed East Downtown Development

The Public Hearing regarding Ryan Development Companies proposed redevelopment project for properties in the Downtown East neighborhood is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, at 4:30 p.m., in Room 317 at City Hall.

Rick Collins, VP of Development with Ryan Companies US, Inc., has submitted the following land use applications for the properties located at 627, 701, 713, and 719 3rd St., S.; 500, 501, 521, 628, 700, 716 and 728 4th St. S; 301, 329, 416 and 425 Portland Avenue; 520 5th St. S.; and 350 Park Avenue.

  • Conditional use permit for a planned unit development that includes approximately 1.5 million square feet of office space, approximately 20,000 square feet of commercial space, 2013 units and a principal parking facility.
  • Site plan review
  • Preliminary Plat (PL-279)

Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
