May 5, 2015, Tuesday - Diet Meets Function, Flow and Rhythm at Central Library

Time: 5:30pm Check-In; 6:00pm Presentation followed by Q&A

Location:  Central Library, Pohlad Hall, 300 Nicollet Mall

Join Carolyn Denton and Jennifer Blair for a blended perspective on eating in harmony with the rhythms of nature and through the seasons of life. Discover ways of feeding yourself that suit your lifestyle, honor your constitution and optimize the vitality of your body and mind.

Adaptation to rhythms and flow is part of life. Our own natural circadian rhythms, tied to light and dark, dictate sleep and eating patterns. Seasonal shifts, provide all living things an opportunity to rest, regenerate, come alive and grow. And certainly the many stages of our lives require attention to changing needs.

If you are a student, the conversation will broaden your understanding of what feeds us.  If you are a provider, you'll find tools to help serve your clients. If you are simply interested in improving your own health, you'll leave with new insights and approaches to enhance your self-care and ability to thrive.
