Artist Talk: Alexa Horochowski with Christina Schmid

Artist Alexa Horochowski discusses her work Cochayuyo (2014) and her practice with writer and critic Christina Schmid. A dual citizen of Argentina and the United States, Horochowski delves into the relationship between the environment and human activity, influenced by several artist residencies in Chile. Schmid is an assistant professor of interdisciplinary art and social practice in the University of Minnesota’s Department of Art. Her essays and reviews have been published in anthologies, journals, artist books, exhibition catalogs, and digital platforms.
