May 29, 2019, Wednesday - Learning How To Receive at A-Mill Artist Lofts

Time: 7p - 9p

Location: A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 SE Main Street

Learning How To Receive

A Women's Circle for all us nurturers to gather and practice receiving!

Are you constantly taking care of others ? Putting family or friends before yourself? Do you practice self-care? How often ?

For every hour of service we give to others we should be giving at least 15 minutes of care to ourselves.

It is our natural instinct to care for others, often labeled as "givers" and "nurturers" but how often do we take time for ourselves?
Sometimes it's hard to make time. Often we have something blocking our ability to receive. We also need to be open to it!

This circle we will learn some simple ways to give back to ourselves. There will be discussion on self-care and what may be blocking us. We will do affirmations and a short meditation to help open ourselves to receiving.
Then we will do some gentle techniques on ourselves and a partner if comfortable. We will practice communication, setting boundaries and allowing ourselves to receive. Simple energy techniques and light massage to release tension we may have stuck in the body.
A loving space to allow ourselves to relax and get pampered a bit!

Come prepared with a yoga mat, small pillow and blanket.
