May 26, 2011, Thursday - Urban Archeologist, Dr. Kent Bakken Leads a Walking Tour of The Mill City Ruins and Surrounding Properties

Time: Noon - 1:00 pm (Registration begins at 11:30)

Join the East Downtown Council (EDC) to learn about the beginnings of Economic Development in Minneapolis and the ways the Mississippi River continues to spur growth and prosperity in the DEEP District.

Our now famous "lunch aprons" (donated by Thrivent Financial) will be filled with walking friendly food for you to pick up at registration before the tour. Come early so we can begin promptly at noon!
