May 2, 2019, Thursday - I-94 / I-35W Community Dinner at Franklin Steele Park and the Portland Ave Bridge over 1-94

Time: 5 - 8 pm (6 pm Dinner)

Location: Franklin Steele Park and the Portland Ave Bridge over 1-94

Join us Thursday, May 2, at Franklin Steele Park off Portland Avenue in Minneapolis as we share a meal with the communities surrounding I-94 and I-35W. There will also be kid-friendly activities.

Everyone is welcome to attend the family-style, sit-down dinner, which is free of charge. This is an opportunity for neighbors to meet, share a table, and have a conversation with MnDOT staff and construction workers about rethinking I-94.

The meal will feature food from cooks from the neighborhoods close to the bridge. The meal will include halal, vegan, and gluten free options.
