Happy Hour with a Preservationist: 300 Clifton

Hosted by Preserve Minneapolis

Happy Hour with a Preservationist is back and we are thrilled to share with you an incredible preservation story. From its 1887 construction as a grand Queen Anne-style mansion to its substantial renovation in 1906 transforming it to a breathtaking Georgian Revival, the home at 300 Clifton has been everything from a single-family residence, multi-family complex, bustling office building and, most recently, a lovingly restored Bed & Breakfast. Join us as we tour the Bradstreet-designed interior and learn about the effort that left this grand-mansion standing, even as urban renewal projects razed its neighbors.
