May 17, 2016, Tuesday - Streets as Places Community Workshop at New Century Theatre

Time: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Location: New Century Theatre, 615 Hennepin Avenue, Suite 145

Hennepin Theatre Trust invites you to a special community workshop focused on reimagining Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.

Your participation will help inform the 5 to 10 on Hennepin project, which will reimagine a five-block stretch of Hennepin Avenue between 5th and 10th streets as a vibrant destination for everyone to enjoy.

The workshop will be co-led by Hennepin Theatre Trust and experts from Project for Public Spaces (PPS), a nonprofit pioneer in the global placemaking movement.

Southwest Airlines’ Heart of the Community program awarded the Trust with a grant to bring the 5 to 10 on Hennepin project to life. PPS is providing technical assistance.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided. If you are unable to attend, please share this with your networks and invite them to help shape a significant and historic pathway in the WeDo™ MPLS Cultural District.

Space is limited. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, May 11 to ensure your seat. Click here to RSVP.
