Dandelion Day
Built in 1849, the Ard Godfrey House was restored by the Woman’s Club and has been open to the public since 1979. Dandelion Day celebrates Harriet Godfrey’s introduction of dandelion seeds to the St. Anthony Falls area.
At the Godfrey House annual Dandelion Day celebration, learn how Harriet Godfrey brought dandelion seeds in 1849 to St. Anthony Falls from her home in Maine, and how she used dandelions in family life. Take home free Godfrey House buttons for the kids and Harriet’s recipes for brewing dandelion coffee and tea.
Admission is FREE, but donations are welcome.
