May 13, 2014, Tuesday - Water Walk: Stewardship and the Land Grant University
Time: Noon
Starting location: The walk begins at Noon in the parking lot north of Elliot Hall on the East Bank (75 E River Pkwy). Elliot Hall is south of the Institute of Child Development, and Shevlin Hall.
Join us for a walk along with Andrew Caddock, senior planner at the University’s Capital Planning and Project Management department, as he talks with us about the University’s roots as a land grant institution, and how this relates to the Mississippi River. How can ongoing stewardship of the natural and built environments of the University and river be managed to meet diverse goals?
Meeting in the parking lot north of Elliot Hall at Noon, Tuesday, May 13.
Explore the connections between campus and the Mississippi and learn about important aspects of the river corridor and the water system that supports it (and us!). Students, staff, faculty, and friends all welcome!
