You are invited to the inaugural broadcast of Radio Rhizome: a radio station dedicated to immigrants’ rights, created by Nooshin Hakim and Pedram Baldari.
Developed in collaboration with the U of M Law School’s James H. Binger Center for New Americans, Javadi and Baldari will generate a broadcast program of interviews, storytelling, and sound performances. The event will be co-presented with Deepinder Mayell, the executive director of the Center for New Americans and director of the Center’s Education and Outreach Program of the Law School. Radio Rhizome is an Incubator Project at WAM's Target Studio for Creative Collaboration. The studio is a platform that supports ambitious collaborations between artists and researchers at the University of Minnesota, making university resources available to the Twin Cities’ artists, and the creative powers of artists available to academic researchers.
