March 28, 2012, Wednesday - Garrison Keillor and the Friends of the Minneapolis Central Library

Time:  6:00pm - 9:00pm

First Annual Meeting

Location:  Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall (Pohlad Hall: Talk / Room S-275: Meeting)

Registration required, begins February 29.  Register online or call 612-543-8000.

Attend the Friends of the Minneapolis Central Library’s first annual meeting and enjoy a presentation by Garrison Keillor (beloved Minnesota author and host of a Prairie Home Companion) at 7:00pm.   Election of Friends officers takes place at 6:00pm in room S-275.  Evening entertainment provided by Dan Newton of the Café Accordion Orchestra.

Space limited. This event is free and open to the public, but registration through the Library’s website is required. Membership in the Friends is not required to register.

Sponsored by Friends of the Minneapolis Central Library.  Donations are welcome at the door or online through the joint membership program.
