Vinyl Revival Workshop: Art of Sampling

Enjoy a demonstration and conversation with hip-hop producer Medium Zach about digging for samples on vinyl, chopping them up to make the most of obscure sounds, and creating new, original pieces of music. "Medium Zach” Bagaason is a Minneapolis-based hip-hop producer, performer and educator who engages youth through songwriting, music production and engineering.

Vinyl Revival is a series of artist residencies, programs and listening opportunities to highlight the vinyl collection at Minneapolis Central Library.
