Time: 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Location: A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 SE Main Street

Spring Equinox Show ft. theyself, Say Darlin' & Mama Caught Fire

Every solstice & equinox, Mama Caught Fire hosts a house show to bring together local artists and friends. This show will include live performances from theyself, Say Darlin', and Mama Caught Fire.

theyself : In 2016 Pat Dougherty, commonly known by their roller derby name 'doc', wrote a song a week and crafted a solo project. The results became theyself, a sound that combines indie-pop hooks with stompin' dance beats and soulful blues. theyself has toured and released records with several bands in the Midwest (Illusion Valley, Maya Elena, JiLL, and Fairfax, AK)

Say Darlin' : Soul-swaying, boot-stomping Appalachian old time music featuring Marie Stier on fiddle, Sarah Cagley on guitar and clogs, and Addie Rosenwinkel on banjo.

Mama Caught Fire : Intricate harmonies, emotional storytelling, and raw vocal power. At the center of the group's sound is three-part vocal harmony, often accompanied by guitar, piano, or ukulele. Band members Julia Hobart, Molly Sowash, and Abigail Tuominen met in 2013 and have been singing together since.
