The Manuscript Meets Modernism

"The Manuscript Meets Modernism: William Morris, Mid-Century Letterpress Printing and Me" is part of a series of free lectures presented in partnership with the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML).

Guest lecturer and artist Rachel Melis, who teaches at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, will discuss how she and other letterpress artists have been influenced by medieval-era book design.

Light refreshments follow the lecture, which will take place in the Open Book Performance Hall from 7-9 p.m. Free and open to the public.
