March 17, 2017, Friday - The Telling Project’s: She Went to War opens at The Guthrie

Time:  7:30pm

Location: Guthrie Theater, Dowling Studio, 818 Second Street South

The Guthrie Theater presents The Telling Project’s: She Went to War March 17 -- April 2

Since 2008, The Telling Project has put more than 200 military veterans and military family members on stages in communities around the country to tell their stories, raising awareness and understanding of military service. Previously, the Guthrie has presented The Telling Project’s Telling: Minnesota in 2014, 2015 and 2016, featuring veterans and veterans’ family members on stage. This season, the organization returns to the Dowling Studio with a new project, She Went to War, centered on the experiences of women in combat. The event is part of the Level Nine Series, devoted to community dialogue about today’s most significant topics and questions. Every Dowling Studio performance includes a discussion component.

Tickets in the Dowling Studio are $9. Seating in the Dowling Studio is General Admission.
