March 16, 2013, Saturday - Around the World in a Day at MCBA

Time: 9:00am-3:30pm

Location: Minnesota Center for Book Arts, 1011 Washington Avenue South

Around the World in a Day with MCBA and The Loft Literary Center

For ages 9-11

Where have you traveled? Where do you want to go? What do you think it would be like to travel the world? Come on this literary journey as we write about past adventures, as well as ones hoped for in your imagination. Then we'll take the words and put them into your own handmade travel journal, joining your words and pictures inside a book format called a contour-line concertina. Feel free to bring journals, pictures, and drawings from previous trips. Even if you've never left Minnesota, bring your memories of our state. We'll also provide travel guides that will allow your imagination to travel the world!
