The Magnet: Senior Activities and Conversations

The Magnet Senior Center at the Minneapolis Central Library will be hosting a presentation from the Museum of Russian Art featuring images of early color photographs of the Russian East made by order of Tsar Nicolas II around the turn of the century. Photographer Prokudin-Gorsky pioneered his own method of making color photos to document the exotic architecture, people, and life ways in the ancient cities along the fabled Silk Road. This is a free event.
