DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT EXPANSION
Kathryn Reali, Cheif Operating Officer of the DID, will discuss the planning and engagement efforts around expanding DID boundaries into Downtown East. While no official plans are on the table, you can learn more about the process thorugh which the DID evaluates expansion opportunities/needs, how the DID is funded and provide feedback on the types of services that would be meaningful.

Proposed Repeal of Sidewalk Congregation Laws:
The committee will discuss the City's proposal to repeal laws that prohibit congegrating on Minneapolis sidewalks. A representative from CM Blong's office, a proposal co-author, will be available to answer questions.
