March 13, 2011, Sunday - David Hyde Pierce at The Guthrie

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Guthrie Theater, Wurtele Thrust Stage

Join us for an In Conversation with Emmy and Tony Award-winner David Hyde Pierce and Guthrie Director Joe Dowling as they discuss the actor’s illustrious career in theater, television and film.

Perhaps best known for his role as Niles in the hit sitcom “Frasier,” Hyde Pierce makes his way to the Guthrie direct from Broadway where he recently starred in La Bête. In addition to a celebrated career on Broadway, performing in musicals such as Monty Python’s Spamalot and Curtains, he has acted in theaters across the country, including the Guthrie where his credits include The Seagull, Tartuffe, Cyrano de Bergerac and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The Guthrie’s In Conversation series invites patrons to hear directly from playwrights, artists and cultural leaders. Each event concludes with a Q & A session with the audience.
