March 11, 2014, Tuesday - March Water Walk: Seasonal Changes

Time: Noon

Starting location: Education Sciences building, 56 East River Road, East Bank of UMN campus (meet in corridor outside Dunn Bros coffee shop).

March Water Walk: Seasonal Changes

Bundle up, grab your shoes and a friend and join River Life for a March Water Walk! Explore the connections between campus and the Mississippi and learn about important aspects of the river corridor and the water system that supports it (and us). Join us at noon on March 11 as guest speaker Jay Hatch leads us on a Water Walk focusing on seasonal changes and the river. Weather permitting, we’ll take a walk on Bridge 9, but we may just go out and have a peek before retreating to the coffee shop. Come with questions! For more information and to RSVP if you’d like, send a message to the River Life Program rlp@umn.edu. Attendees are welcome to stay and purchase lunch after the event. Students, staff, faculty and the general public are all welcome!
