March 10, 2012, Saturday - Mill City Bake-Off Challenge at Mill City Museum

Location: Mill City Museum, 704 Second Street South

Time: 10:00am to 3:30pm.  Demonstrations at 1:00pm and 3:00pm

In honor of the 45th Pillsbury Bake-off, Mill City staff will create an original recipe on-the-spot using the Pillsbury Bake-off official list of qualifying ingredients. Audience members will choose what ingredients they want to see in the recipe and two adventurous staff members, in true test kitchen style, will experiment live in front of the Baking Lab audience to see if they can create a “winning recipe.” Visitors will taste the new recipes and pick a winner. Learn about the 45-year history of the Pillsbury Bake-Off, sample treats, get baking tips and make a recipe card to take home a copy of our brand-new original recipe.

Fee: Programs included with museum admission of $11 adults, $9 seniors and college students, $6 children ages 6-17; free for MHS members.
