June 8, 2017, Thursday - Lonely Arts 2017: Nonfiction at The Loft

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Location: The Loft at Open Book (Performance Hall), 1011 Washington Ave S

Join the Loft, editor Joey McGarvey, and Hazel & Wren as we repurpose the form of speed dating to help writers find what they really need—a good critique partner. The energy will be high, the mood will be light, and the talk will be heady—an evening of conversation and craft matchmaking. Admission includes one drink and light snacks.

The focus of the June 8 Lonely Arts will be nonfiction, in all of its forms. We can't guarantee a match, but whether you're writing a memoir or a collection of essays, as long as it is nonfiction, we'll try to find you a home. At our last Lonely Arts Nonfiction event, we were able to match 86% of participants.
