Today at Mill City Farmers Market: Rhubarb Day

Produce Planner: At the Market this Saturday, you will find: sweet sugar pea shoots, micro greens, MORELS, herbs, arugula, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, asparagus, fresh mushrooms, baby bok choi, nettles, cilantro, carrots, rhubarb, red and golden beets, tomatoes, mesclun mix, radishes, cucumbers, turnips, starter plants, hanging baskets and patio pots, lots of bedding plants, plenty of seed starts: summer squash, melon/watermelon, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and more!

Mill City Cooks, 10 am: Chef Jenny Breen will be introducing us to a savory side of rhubarb with two tasty recipes: Rhubarb Chutney and Asparagus with Rhubarb and Olive Marinade.  Come by the kitchen demo at 10 am for a free lesson, recipe to take home, and even a tasty bite to sample!

Live Music, 11am – 1pm: Mill City is excited to welcome back the lively and energetic Orange Mighty Trio to the Market this Saturday!

All Day: Plantworn, Christy Wetzig, Aprilierre, and Old World Cabinet.
