June 6, 2013, Thursday - Writ Loud at The Loft

Tme: 6:30pm

Location: The Loft, (Patio at Open Book) 1011 Washington Avenue South

Discover new talent at Writ Loud, the new student reading (and writing) series from The Loft Literary Center. Creative writers from Loft classes will have the chance to take the stage to read original work. All attendees will also produce their own creative pieces.

Theme: “Fandom”

Four readers will be selected the night of the event by lottery. If you’re interested in participating as a reader, bring:
• Up to 4 minutes of poetry or prose on the theme of “Fandom”
• A brief bio (2–3 sentences) about your life as a fan, writer, artist, paparazzo, stalker, etc.
Whether or not you’d like to take the stage, come ready to write (we’ll provide the prompts), drink (there will be libations), and celebrate the creativity of the Loft community.

*Rain location is the Book Club Room.
