At the Market this Saturday, you will find:  Strawberries, rhubarb, pac choi, totsoi, fennel, beets, onions, scallions, salad mix, head lettuce,red butter lettuce, little gem romaines, cabbage, sugar snap peas, snow peas, herbs, spring onions, ramps, garlic scapes, chives, arugula, nettles, chickweed, radishes, carrots, kale, Swiss chard, stinging nettles, potatoes, purslane, cilantro, oregano, tarragon, lemon thyme, dill, fresh mushrooms, dried beans, and much more!

Mill City Cooks, 10 am: Join Market Chef Jenny Breen who will be doing a heart healthy demo featuring Greens with Miso Dressing and Toasted Almonds. Courtney Jordan Bachler, MD, will be joining Jenny today and will talk about a holistic approach for prevention of heart disease, aging well, weight loss, stress and anxiety reduction, and more.

Live Music, 11 am – 1 pm: MCFM welcomes back crowd favorite Moonlight Duo, entertaining us with a wide-ranging repertory of traditional Southern roots music, featuring bluesy old time songs and Appalachian and Irish dance tunes, spiced with Cajun and country swing.

Meet Your Vegetables, sponsored by Allina Health and PGI:  Stop by and ask about a holistic approach to health, mindfulness and stress management. The first 200 visitors will receive a free guided imagery CD and every visitor will receive a delicious sample of kale pesto by our wonderful Meet Your Vegetables nutrition interns.
