Preserve Minneapolis Tour: Hennepin Avenue Theater District Walking Tour

View the historic State, Pantages, and Orpheum theaters along Hennepin Avenue. This walking tour includes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the beautifully preserved theaters in downtown Minneapolis. We’ll highlight architecture and historical facts and stories and describe the city’s theater restoration efforts along “Theater Row.” Theater interiors are included and are the highlight of the tour, as attendees get to go backstage. 2018 is the 30th anniversary of the city’s purchase of the Orpheum Theater from Bob Dylan.

This tour walks approximately 1 mile. The tour is not ADA accessible.

The guides are Christopher Yaeger and John Smoley.
