June 23, 2012, Saturday - Solstice River XVI: And Peace Will Flow at Stone Arch Bridge

Time: 8:30pm

Location: The Stone Arch Bridge

Solstice River XVI: And Peace Will Flow...
Presented by Global Site Performance and the Center for Global Environmental Education.

This annual performance honors the Mississippi River around the longest day of the year.

Come to the Stone Arch bridge and watch as the whole surrounding landscape comes alive with dancers on rooftops, kayaks, and riverbanks.
The audience joins in at the finale, with blue fabric symbolizing the river, that stretches over 1400 feet along the Stone Arch Bridge.

Free and open to the public, rain or shine. Come early (8:00pm) for a raffle drawing to support the show.  Music will be simulcast on KBEM 88.5 FM.

The Center for Global Environmental Education provides public information about the care and health of the river.
