June 2, 2019, Sunday - Downtown Run Around 5K with Mile in My Shoes

Time:8:30 am

Location: Father Hennepin Park, 420 Main St. SE

Downtown Run Around 5K with Mile in My Shoes

You’re invited to participate in the third Annual Downtown Run Around 5K with Mile in My Shoes. Mile in My Shoes is dedicated to “running together to change perceptions and to change lives.” They do this by bringing together residents of local homeless shelters and halfway houses with local runner volunteers, who train together 2-3 times a week. The Downtown Run Around will be the very first 5K race for dozens of MiMS’s program participants. Whether you’re looking to participate or to see their community in action, this event is sure to inspire! And 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to MiMS, a 501(c)(3) organization. Choose from a half-mile kids run and a 5K.
