July 9, 2019, Tuesday - Paddle with a Ranger at Boom Island

Time: 6 – 8 pm

Location: Start and end at Boom Island Park, 724 Sibley St. NE

Mississippi Park Connections presents: Paddle with a Ranger

Get up close and personal with a heron rookery, spot bald eagles, peregrine falcons and other wildlife as you kayak down the Mississippi River with Park Ranger Sharon Stiteler. You will also pass by the site for the Upper Harbor Terminal Project and several industries on the river. This four-mile paddle from North Mississippi Regional Park to Boom Island Park includes a kayak, paddle and personal flotation device rental from Paddle Share. Cost: $35 ($30 for members of Mississippi Park Connection).
