July 30, 2017, Sunday - Hennepin Avenue Theater District Walking Tour with Preserve Minneapolis 

Time: 9:00 AM

Location: Gather in the lobby of the State Theater on 8th and Hennepin begin the tour.

Hennepin Avenue Theater District Walking Tour with Preserve Minneapolis 

Explore the Historical Show Houses along Hennepin Ave. including the interiors of the Pantages and Orpheum Theaters.  The tour includes unique architecture details, behind-the-scene gems, and a storytelling style that bring our history to life.  The tour travels four city blocks through the West Downtown Cultural District in Minneapolis.  WeDo™ (pronounced wee-doo)

The Pantages theater is celebrating its 100th year! Highlights from this dynamic century will be the core focus of the tour. 

The guides are Christopher Yaeger and John Smoley.
