Minneapolis based duo the Ericksons has been crafting their own unique style of soulful, honest, indie-folk music since 2006. Sisters Bethany Valentini and Jenny Kapernick’s emotive sound is inspiring, powerful and captivating. With three albums under their belt, the latest of which, The Wild, garnering much acclaim in Minnesota, the duo is working on their newest collection of songs. With their new single, ANIMAL, The Ericksons introduce electro-pop instrumentation to their mystical songwriting and ethereal vocal harmonies. The duo gives their arresting sound a fun new twist through their collaboration with the production team of Sean Carey (Bon Iver, S. Carey), and Ben Lester (Field Report, A.A. Bondy, S. Carey). This inventive new single evokes light, hope, and strength, and represents an evolution of sound from The Ericksons that weaves a thread into the music to come.
