July 25, 2017, Tuesday - Upper Harbor Terminal Community Meeting

Time: 6pm–7pm introductory open house; 7pm–8:30pm AFCAC meeting

Location: MPRB Headquarters, 2117 W. River Road N., second floor board room

Upper Harbor Terminal Community Meeting

The City of Minneapolis, Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) and master development team (United Properties, THOR Development and First Avenue Productions) are hosting a series of public meetings at which community members will be able to provide input to inform the plan for the Upper Harbor Terminal site. The general goal of this meeting will be to gather community input on preliminary plan framework concepts showing: site circulation/community connections; concepts for the public components of the site (e.g., riverfront character, park improvements and other potential destination elements and potential reuses of existing structures); as well as potential development sites and uses.

There will be introductory presentations between 6 and 7 pm to orient those who are new to the planning process, and the preliminary framework concepts will be available for viewing. As part of the monthly Above the Falls Community Advisory Committee meeting starting at 7 pm, the framework information will be presented and small group discussions will gather input.

Both portions of the evening are open to the public and will be family-friendly, and refreshments will be provided.
