Drop by to get to know Minneapolis’ Ward 3 City Council Member Steve Fletcher in our new “Coffee with Your…” series, where we invite local leaders and community figures to the market’s train shed demo area. 10 to 10:15 a.m. – Learn fundamental cooking skills, including selection, prep and storage for seasonal farmers market vegetables and more in the train shed patio.
10:30 to 11 a.m. – Join us for our chef-led cooking class offered every Saturday in the train shed patio, inspiring you to make your #WeeklyMarketMeal. Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information booth every week! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.
