Location: Pillsbury Auditorium, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 3rd Ave S

Asian Influences in Music: A Collaborative Performance Series presented by MacPhail Center for Music and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts’ Department of Asian Arts represents 17 Asian cultures spanning nearly 5,000 years. This concert will showcase the  influences Asian aesthetics, art and culture has on Western music. There will also be a pre-concert lecture led by MIA curators before the program from 1-1:30 p.m. in the Friends Community Room.

Tickets may be purchased at either the MIA or MacPhail - $10 general admission, $5 for MacPhail students and MIA members.
