The Polar Plunge, presented by Minnesota law enforcement, is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support local Special Olympics Minnesota athletes by jumping into Minnesota's frigid waters.
Join us for the 2017 Downtown Minneapolis Plunge!
The Plunge is taking it to a whole new level this year! To celebrate our 20th year of Polar Plunging, we’re dropping a pool right in the heart downtown Minneapolis. All you have to do is walk outside, jump in and support Special Olympics Minnesota.
You can choose to Plunge at the 12 - 1 p.m. or 4 - 6 p.m. time slot.
There’s no excuse to miss this Plunge! Celebrate afterwards with a happy hour hosted by your frien...ds at Atlas Grill right inside US Bank Plaza.
We have big expectations for this event — it’s going to be like no other Plunge! This is a great opportunity to get out of work early and support a great cause! Bring a change of clothes to Plunge in — it could be your swimsuit, a wacky outfit or team costume (we’ll have changing rooms on-site)! Shoes must be worn while Plunging, so don’t forget to bring a separate pair to Plunge in.
