Pillsbury House Theatre's Breaking Ice: A Performance in Celebration of Black History Month

As a capstone to our month-long celebration of Black History, we invite you to a special “third hour” presentation following our February 28, 9:30 service. First Covenant Church’s Committee on Racial and Economic Justice (CREJ) will host a performance of the Pillsbury House+Theatre’s highly acclaimed Breaking Ice, starting at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Plan to stay and invite your friends.

Pillsbury’s Breaking Ice performers provide an entertaining and thought-provoking experience designed to foster better understanding and communication around difficult to discuss issues of race and equity. Their lively, fast-paced vignettes provide a fresh perspective and a more intimate view of how individuals relate to each other.

Following the performance, Breaking Ice facilitators will lead an audience discussion of themes surfaced during the performance. Join us on February 28th at 11am as we explore these challenging issues together!
