Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Location: Whole Foods Market, 222 Hennepin Avenue

How to Brew Kombucha

This 75 minute class includes instruction on how to brew your own great tasting Kombucha at home. Learn the first fermentation process, which yields a great basic Kombucha, ready to drink on its own. And learn the nuances of the second fermentation and confidently add your own flavors to bring a unique taste and sparkling effervescence to each bottle. Take home a Study Guide with simple instructions plus a starter culture to begin your Kombucha adventure right away.

This is a fun, interactive class that includes samplings of several different varieties of kombucha. Be ready to quench your Kombucha thirst and feel free to ask questions!

Taught by Bryan Deane Bertsch, home brewer since 2006 and owner/brewmaster of Deane's Kombucha in Minneapolis, MN.
