February 20, 2018, Tuesday - Equitable Vision Zero Work Group Meeting at Our Streets Mpls

Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Location: Our Streets Mpls Office, #204 1428 Washington Ave S

Equitable Vision Zero for Minneapolis

The City of Minneapolis is starting work on Vision Zero, which is an effort to make focused street safety improvements to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries. As the city rolls out its plan for Vision Zero in Minneapolis, Our Streets Minneapolis is hosting a work group to coordinate with the City to make sure Vision Zero is equitable for the most vulnerable road users.

At the January meeting, the group discussed the City's next steps on Vision Zero, the Work Group's hopes for the City, and how the group wants to approach other organizations to be part of our effort to make Vision Zero safe and equitable.

The Equitable Vision Zero work group meets monthly. Email frances@ourstreetsmpls.org if you'd like to get involved. The next meeting is on Tuesday, February 20th at the Our Streets Minneapolis office. Click here to view our events and meetings calendar for up to date meeting details.
