Minnesota's Black Community Past and Present: Walter R. Scott Sr., Publisher

In celebration of Black History Month, learn about Scott who was a trailblazer in the 1960s and l970s for the importance of celebrating the achievements of Minnesota's Black Community from a historical and contemporary perspective in books and magazines. Members of the Scott family will give an overview of his historical projects along with an introduction to the forthcoming "Minnesota's Black Community Book Project." Q&A will follow, along with entertainment.
