February 16, 2016, Tuesday - Winter Reads: Laura Waterman Wittstock at Central Library

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Minneapolis Central Library, Doty Board Room

Winter Reads: Laura Waterman Wittstock

Author, radio host, journalist Wittstock and photographer, activist Dick Bancroft interpreted the history of the American Indian Movement in their book, “We Are Still Here.” This movement, founded in 1968 in Minneapolis, burst into the turbulent 1960s to protest centuries of corruption, racism and abuse. Join Wittstock to hear this dynamic story and view Bancroft's powerful photos.
