February 14, 2015, Saturday - Twin Cities Progressive Brewpub Tour

Time: 11:00am – 4:45pm

Location: See schedule below

Tickets

The Twin Cities has both a booming brewing and foodie scene that has been flourishing over the last few years. The Brewpubs that reside in the Twin Cities bring together both of these, serving up a diverse menu alongside perfectly crafted brews. We’ve brought together four of the top Brewpubs in the Cities to create a progressive meal that features 8 unique small plates with 16 different craft brews to help us wash down all of our food.

Your day will begin at Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub in South Minneapolis, which won the “Best Brewpub” award in the City Pages 2013 Best of the Twin Cities issue. Upon arrival, your local GetKnit Gurus will get you checked in and soon thereafter we will kickoff our day of feasting and drinking with two different highlights from their menu that features house-smoked meats. Next, we will hop aboard our luxury transportation and head to St. Paul’s historic Hamm Building that has been home to Great Waters Brewing Company for nearly 20 years. Here we will get to sample a variety of their famous cask-conditioned ales and a sampling of two of their most famous dishes. Once we’ve had our fill, we will head back to Minneapolis to the recently expanded Town Hall Brewery. At this iconic staple we will enjoy two unique dishes served up by their very talented head chef and wash them down with four of their delightful brews. Finally, we will head to Day Block Brewing Company, which is the Twin Cities only pizza-based brewpub. Named the “Best Brewpub” in 2014 by the StarTribune, here we will enjoy a slice of one of their most popular pizzas, sample four of their best brews, and finish off the day with their famous chocolate-covered bacon. This day of experiencing some of the Twin Cities best Brewpubs will leave you full and hoppy!
